Points of Pride

We have a highly
active PTO with extensive parent involvement. They donated money for a new sidewalk and fence that will help keep our children safe.
¨
Our parent volunteers are highly involved and active in the classrooms on a
daily basis. We ask each parent volunteer at least once during the school year.
¨
Our
literacy program, Breakthrough to Literacy, that helps students learn to read at
their own pace. Students are able to work every day on the computers with the
program.
¨
Our "Zoophonics"
program helps our students with their letters and sounds.
¨
"Handwriting
without tears" is our writing program that allows the student to learn
handwriting through a hands-on developmentally appropriate approach.
¨
Our "I Care Cat Program" that stresses good listening skills and responsibility
to our students.
¨
Our before and after school program which is free of charge and allows parents to drop off their children before school at 7:30 a.m. and pick them up until 5:30 p.m.
